New York Science Correlation Overview
PLEASE NOTE: The state of New York uses grade spans (K-4 and 5-8) rather than individual grade level expectations in their science standards. The percentage of coverage shown in this table for science indicates the portion of grade span standards coverage that each science publication contains at each grade level. For example, Science Studies Weekly—Footprints covers 62 percent of all NY K-4 grade span science standards. Also, in just one year of using Science Studies Weekly—Challenger, 5th grade students will cover 57% of the New York Science Standards that students are expected to learn in 4 years (grades 5-8).
We have not completed correlations for all states at every grade level. Our completion goal is September 1st, 2008. Check back often.
