I am reminded of my girlfriend who was raising her child in Mexico (The counrty of). If she wanted her child to have crayons in school, she had to buy everyone in her daughter's class crayons. This was (is) true for any supplies used by children in school in Mexico. When she decided to come back to the USA, she was surprised at how much is provided for the children. No, you are not asking too much from the parents.

How you manage to keep your energy up even at the end of the school year is a wonder. You make me want to go out and order a set of weeklies for a classroom!

Very timely. A respected major news network didn't seem to get much flack after it was discovered that they "edited" a 911 tape and the resulting news story enflamed an already tenuous racial situation. As viewers of that "news story" how could the public know it was being manipulated? We do trust blindly and must be more aware of the subtleties of propaganda. It is not to soon to teach circumspection to elementary students. Buyer beware lessons in nutrition would be one good place to start.

Dear Kim, What a wonderful project - informative, interesting, creative, innovative, simple-easy-to-create and to-use, and soooooo touching!!! Speaking as the mom-reciprient, this project immediately brought tears to my eyes!!! (Thank you, my darling daughter, for bringing out my tissue box and filling my heart with so much love!) Every mother would love to receive such a heart-warming gift! This is one of those projects that mothers will keep in their memory boxes!!!
YOU are loved, Mom
