Subject Matter
math, counting, money, dataAt Studies Weekly we put a lot of time and effort into our subject matter. We know your time with your students is valuable so we strive to embed the most pertinent of information into our publications. Our knowledgeable and experienced teacher-authors also understand the value of building upon solid ground, and that is why our publications are so consistently progressive for students. For example, in the beginning a student will just learn the basics of measuring. By the next year the student will learn both standard and non-standard units of measure as well as tools for measuring. The next year the student will learn how to measure 2-dimensional shapes as well as how to find the perimeter of a shape. This progressive learning method helps students when it comes to test time. In addition, all of the content of our publications are based on the Common Core Standards for Mathematics, as well as best practices outlined by NCTM and NAEP.
