Florida Studies Weekly comes in 32 colorful newspapers that look and feel like real newspapers. These are shipped in four shipments, or quarters, each containing 8 weekly curriculum newspapers.

This fourth grade classroom newspaper is 100 percent based on the Sunshine State Standards for social studies (http://www.firn.edu/doe/menu/sss.htm) and is state adopted as a major classroom tool by the Florida State Department of Education.

An extended teacher edition is included with each subscription for ten or more copies. The teacher edition contains guided reading strategies, discussion questions, word wall words, words to know, literature links, language arts connections, math connections, ESE strategies, indepth background articles on Florida history, and much more.

Each fourth grade classroom subscription of 20 or more copies also includes a blackline master workbook containing graphic organizers which are individually tailored for each weekly fourth grade lesson; and an assessment workbook containing weekly mini-assessments, quarterly assessments, and tutorial assessments; and a resource CD containing soft copy of all the assessments, blackline masters, graphic organizers, and much more.
