Many factors determine your school or district’s needs, including location, demographics, and state standards. Studies Weekly partners with you to provide customized professional development for teachers and administrators by building relationships that allow us to listen and understand how to best meet your needs.

Each training session meets teachers or administrators where they are at and shows them how to increase their effectiveness. PD sessions can be customized to fit your school or district’s needs by:

Customized PD Training Options:

    • Onboarding
      This introductory-level session provides new Studies Weekly educators initial training and a guided tour of our print and online publications so teachers can start the new year off strong. (This session is a prerequisite for intermediate or advanced sessions.)
    • Instructional Modeling
      Teachers get to experience, unpack, and apply ways to use our print and online publications in this engaging, hands-on intermediate/advanced-level session.
    • Train the Trainer
      With this intermediate/advanced-level session, teacher leaders learn how to coach the rest of your faculty on using Studies Weekly resources so teachers can build their capacity to improve their instructional skills.
    • Curriculum Coaching
      Administrators and curriculum teams receive extra support on aligning Studies Weekly publications with local curriculum and sustained implementation.

All customers can register for webinars, face-to-face training, and regional events. Contracted customers qualify for other PD opportunities, including up to five days of training plus webinar sessions, curriculum coaching, and implementation planning.

Debbie Bagley, Studies Weekly Teacher AdvocateQualified customers can also schedule one-on-one or group consultations with Studies Weekly’s teacher advocate, Debbie Bagley. Debbie will meet with your teachers to provide extra instructional support, whether that includes bouncing off ideas or modeling instruction.
